Our leveling blocks are designed to work with our roller bearing sets. These blocks allow you to level trailing trucks, pilot wheels and tenders. They can also be used for power pick up on static wheels such as tenders, cabooses and any other items that need rail power.
Place the blocks on the track under any item you want to level to the height of the roller bearings, it's that easy. The blocks automatically lock between the rail heads and can pick up power directly from the rails if needed.
To use the blocks for powering items, use the copper foil tape included with the kit. Peel back the paper protecting the adhesive tape then wrap the tape, copper side out around the grooved channel on the bottom of the block all the way around to the top surface where the wheels will sit until you meet the beginning point. For center pickups repeat the same steps on the middle channel then install the brass pick up, wings out towards the rail on the underside of the block using the 5/64 hex button screw.
The blocks can be used individually or in tandem to lengthen for longer wheel sets.
